3 Months - 2 years

This room is for our littlest friends aged three months to approximately two years. We provide lots of different experiences for our wee ones – books, music making, painting, building and more.

Outside is our playground with a big sand pit, climbing and sliding, water play in the summer and places to explore.

We have an adult:child ratio of 1:3 in this room (legal minimum is 1:5), which allows us to fit in with your routines at home and offer an excellent level of care

A Space for Growth and Independence

2 - 3.5+ years

In the Busy Bees Room, children aged 2 to approx. 3.5 years thrive in a nurturing environment. We focus on building confidence, social skills and independence.

The playground is a bit more challenging, with balance bikes, a big slide and a fort! Inside, we are starting to accustom the children to some of the things they will need to do at school, such as looking after their shoes and bags, sitting on the mat and taking part in group activities. Twice a week we offer baking and the chance to eat the results!

Discover the Curious Kiwis Room Experience

3.5+ - Starting School

In the Curious Kiwis Room, children aged from around 3.5 to school age engage in fun and enriching activities that prepare them for school. Our curriculum emphasises literacy, STEM, and essential social skills.

Twice a week we go out on bushwalks to nearby Phyllis Reserve.  Children in this room also take part in inquiry based learning on topics that interest them - recently we've looked in depth at rainbows and mixing colours, and numbers they've seen on their bushwalk days.

Our adult:child ratio is 1:8 (legal minimum 1:10), and this again allows us to achieve great outcomes for the children.
