Our school is convenient not just for families in Epsom, Newmarket, Mt Eden and Remuera, but also for parents who commute into the centre of Auckland from the Eastern suburbs. We’re situated on a tree-lined road just off the intersection of Manukau Road and Greenlane West, conveniently located for the Greenlane, Market Road and Gillies Avenue junctions on the Southern Motorway.

Inside the school, we have one room for under 2s which is a home base primarily on our crawling babies, while the remainder of the centre is dedicated to children aged 2+. We believe in mixed age groupings where we can respond to the child's developmental needs, rather than an arbitrary age-based teaching segments.  Our building is a 1920’s villa, which provides a pleasant and homely environment for children to play and learn. We are just around the corner from Epsom Normal Primary School and Kohia Terrace Primary School.  Our proximity to Epsom Normal means we are able to use the school playground during holidays and helps us to familiarise children with a school environment as they get ready for school life.  We have plenty of green spaces nearby too, which provide additional options for outside play and exploration, following the Reggio philosophy of the environment as the "third teacher" after parents and teaching staff.
